CDS
Il CDS (Coating Detection System) is a vision-based measurement system developed by Spring Off for the online monitoring of industrial coating processes for rubber profiles.
The system is designed to automatically detect the presence of the coating on the surface of rubber seals by exploiting the fluorescence of a UV-sensitive pigment incorporated into the coating material.
Main System Components
- NI CVS-1456 embedded vision system
- Two 1/4″ FireWire CCD color cameras
- Two UV fluorescent lamp illuminators
- IP55-rated enclosure housing the cameras and lighting system
